Healthy living habits can prevent us from package of chronic diseases.
A healthy lifestyle includes:·Avoiding all kinds of addictions ( tobacco & alcohol)
Tobacco has been recognized as the single largest preventable cause of disease and death worldwide. The tobacco epidemic is shifting from developed to developing nations, as tobacco use starts to rise among women and youth. The behavior are learnt in childhood and become fixed later in life. So, there is an intense need to bring about awareness among the youth and the adults in the community regarding tobacco avoidance and tobacco control. Youth are potentially effective change agent and can contribute to widespread advocacy for tobacco control by playing a dual role, one, as channels of community education and empowernment and also act as 'watch dogs' to monitor any offences committed under the purview of laws controlling tobacco use .
